As well as when handling other devices, with a battery charger you must follow some basic rules. Do not expose the charger to rain or snow. It is desirable to have a bottle of water and soap at hand due to battery acid in case of skin contact, and in the case of contact with eyes, immediately see a doctor. Wear full protective equipment, avoid touching your eyes while working near the battery. When working with the battery charger do not wear bracelets, chains, watches and the like. An operating charger can produce a short circuit that may hurt you. A spark near the battery may cause an explosion. Keep the terminals clean and protect them from corrosion. Never use the device for charging defective batteries or batteries which cannot be recharged. In case of any malfunction, contact the service technicians who are trained to solve similar situations.
