State of the art technical solutions for irrigation of lawns are those that have a stationary sprinkler. But before installing the irrigation system, it is essential to thoroughly analyze and design it, because can not be set without digging of the ground.
Stationary sprinklers are telescopic and are located below the surface, together with the accompanying installation. This type of device, the so-called "pop - up" sprinklers may have sprinkler or rotary accessory. The principle of work is such that it is above the soil surface only during irrigation. Upon completion of the irrigation it retreats back below the surface, so it does not interfere with mowing or performing other activities on the lawn.
Spray sprinklers are designed for watering of small green areas, because they do not supply with water the surface below them and therefore it is required to design and install the system of double overlapping. Height of the lifting in case of these sprinklers is from 5 to 40 cm.
Rotary sprinklers are selected so that their size fits the purpose. The range can be adjusted by replacing the nozzle, but it can also function without it. Spray angle is from 40 to 360°. Depending on the type of the device, the radius of sprinkling may be from four meters to 20 meters.
By using the "pop - up" nozzles of different types and sizes, that are watering green areas circularly or by sector, as well as the selection of jets and the appropriate schedule, lawns of various shapes and sizes may be watered.
The advantage of an automated watering system is that, by planning, you can adapt it to any garden, park or other green area. System controls the microprocessor to adjust watering rates, so that it can ensure the equitable distribution of necessary water, and at optimal time intervals.
